Would this apply only to low-income restricted units or to middle/moderate-income restricted units as well?

The chart, per se, only applies to low income restricted units. However, Gotham’s original deal with tenants and with the community was that all of the affordable unit tenants were to have a utility allowance which they could deduct from their monthly rent payments. The original lottery advertisement showed that the utility allowance accorded to moderate and middle income units followed the same numbers as for the low income units — so did the original tenant leases for the moderate and middle income units. The representations were clear.

    Hello,
I’m still getting the allowance at the 2019 rate as per my 2019 2 year lease. However; compliance is using the 2020 value on current recertification despite not changing as they normally due every year. There are other issues too. I recommend going over all the recertification numbers and computations very carefully. Every year there are “mistakes.”

    Meeeeooooow, HellsKitten.
Are you saying that they actually typed the increased 2020 utility allowance on the certification?! Meeeeooooow! That is something I need to see ASAP. Please snap a picture of it and email it to me at GWTenantsCollective@yahoo.com . I may ask you for permission to send it over to our attorneys who are putting together the class action suit.
